Who we serve

Mid-market and growth-stage companies ready to move

Healthcare Manufacturing Logistics & supply chain Enterprise software & SaaS Education technology Professional services PE-backed companies Family-owned businesses

A note on professional obligations: we do not serve banks, financial institutions, or fintech companies, and our engagements never draw on confidential information from any current or former employer. Clear boundaries are part of how we earn trust.

Gati may not be the right fit if you need outsourced software development, staff augmentation, or generic AI training. We advise; we do not replace your team.

Services

Three ways we build your momentum

Unlike traditional consulting firms, every Gati recommendation is shaped by a career spent inside global enterprises, where decisions carried operational accountability, not presentation slides.

Fractional Technology & AI Advisory

Ongoing executive partnership on a monthly retainer. We help you move AI from experimentation to production: strategy and roadmaps, build-versus-buy decisions, platform architecture, vendor evaluation, and engineering organization design, brought to your leadership table without the cost of a full-time hire.

What makes Gati different

Operator before advisor

Recommendations informed by years of enterprise execution, not by a research deck. I have owned the outcomes I am advising you on.

Business first, technology second

Every technology decision is tied to a measurable business result. If we cannot name the outcome, we do not recommend the work.

Independent perspective

No vendor relationships, no implementation arm, no incentive to sell you more than you need. Just an honest read of your situation.

My story

The best technology decisions are made by people who have carried them into production, and then studied why they worked.

Vish Srivastava, Founder and Managing Principal of Gati Advisory Partners

I'm Vish Srivastava. I've built technology inside demanding global enterprises: platforms that move billions, a team that grew from ten people into an organization of more than a hundred, and AI capabilities I helped bring to life that are now used by more than 30,000 people.

Twenty years gives you a long memory. I have seen masterful engineering gather dust, and modest systems quietly transform how a business runs. The difference was never the technology. It was judgment: someone making the right call about strategy, timing, and people. At some point I stopped wanting to just witness that judgment and decided to build it in myself. So, with an M.S. in Computer Science already behind me, I went to Kellogg for an MBA in AI and Analytics, learning to ask what is worth building with the same discipline I had spent my career answering how.

When it came time to name this practice, I chose a word I have known all my life. Gati is Sanskrit for momentum. Born in India, I built my career in America, and my work has since spanned three continents. Gati carries that history, and it describes the work itself better than any English word I know: the companies that call me are rarely short on ideas or talent. They are stuck. My job is getting them moving again, and making sure it lasts.

I run this practice the way I have always led: with curiosity, clarity, and care. Curiosity, because the technology will not wait for anyone. Clarity, because you deserve recommendations that survive hard questions. And care, because in the end, trust between people is what gives a transformation its momentum.

Technology should create momentum, not complexity. That is the work I chose, and it is the work Gati exists to do.

Experience

Where the judgment comes from

You are not hiring a framework. You are hiring someone who has already made these decisions, lived with the consequences, and learned which ones actually mattered.

0+ years
leading technology inside global enterprises

0+ people
led across multi-level engineering organizations
30,000+ users
reached by AI capabilities shipped to production

WHERE THAT EXPERIENCE HELPS YOU

A point of view

Most organizations do not have an AI problem. They have a prioritization problem. AI amplifies clarity; it does not replace it.

How we work

Five principles behind every recommendation

These are not slogans. They are the filters every piece of advice passes through before it reaches your leadership table.

Technology serves the business, not the other way around.

01

AI is a capability, not a strategy.

02

Simplicity scales better than complexity.

03

Executive alignment matters as much as architecture.

04

Every recommendation should survive hard questions.

05

Judgment over hype. Momentum over complexity.

STEP 2

Momentum assessment

A short, focused review of your strategy, architecture, and team against your goals, ending in a written point of view on where the leverage is.

You receiveAn executive summary, an AI opportunity map, a technology risk assessment, a prioritized roadmap, and clear next steps.
STEP 3

Engagement

Advisory retainer, workshop, or board counsel, whichever fits. Clear scope, measurable outcomes, and a cadence that keeps things moving.

Common questions

How long do engagements last?

Workshops are a single day. Roadmaps run four to six weeks. Advisory retainers are ongoing, typically reviewed each quarter.

Do you implement technology?

No. We advise, and we help you choose and direct the people who build. That independence is deliberate.

What size companies do you advise?

Mid-market and growth-stage companies, plus PE-backed businesses and the boards that oversee them.

How do workshops work?

A half or full day with your leadership team, built around your business. You leave with a shared vocabulary and a prioritized set of use cases.

Start a conversation

Every meaningful technology transformation starts with a conversation.

Tell us where your technology or AI journey is stuck, and we will bring an honest outside view on what would create momentum. The first conversation costs nothing, and usually helps.
